It was held in Yekaterinburg at the famous sambo school “Uralmash”. A year later, in 1999, he won his first tournament. It was held in Yekaterinburg at the famous sambo school “Uralmash”. Since 2010, he has been competing for UMMC Sambo Club (Verkhnyaya Pyshma). He is credited as the main cup fighter of the Sverdlovsk sambo in recent years. He has a kind of unique achievement, having won the Cup of Russia six times.
However, he considers the semi-finals of the Russian Championship in Yekaterinburg in 2017 as the most memorable fight of his career. Then the win over his clubmate Amyr Chadin in the category up to 52 kg allowed Aleksey get into the finals of the main tournament of the country for the first time.
Alexey graduated from the Shadrinsk State University of Pedagogy. He is married and is raising a daughter. Alexey prefers to spend his free time with his family, involving them into outdoor activities: together with his wife, they run track, go skiing, skating, biking, hiking.
