The XXI All-Russian Sambo Competition for the Prizes of Alexander Pushnitsa, Honored Master of Sports of the USSR я по самбо на призы Заслуженного мастера спорта СССР Александра Пушницы
The XXI All-Russian Sambo Competition for the prizes of Alexander Pushnitsa, Merited Master of Sports of the USSR will be held at Red Star Sports Club in Omsk.
The competition will take place on October 28 and 29. All participants are over 18 years of age. Medals will be awarded in nine weight categories in sport sambo and in four weight categories in combat sambo.
Apart from medals and diplomas, it is planned to grant additional awards, such as "Best Techniques", "Best Sambo wrestler in the Omsk Region", "Best Judge" and "Coach of the Winner".
We would remind that Alexander Pushnitsa is nine-time USSR champion in sambo, seven-time RSFSR champion, three-time winner of the Spartakiad of the Peoples of the USSR, two-time European champion and three-time winner of World Championships. In 2000, he was awarded the title of Honorary Citizen of Omsk. Today Alexander Pushnitsa heads his own sports club where around 200 young sambists train.
