The team from Sverdlovsk Region gained nine medals at the Russian Cup that ended in Kstovo, Nizhny Novgorod Region

One of the most prestigious tournaments of the season, the Russian Cup, ended in Kstovo, Nizhny Novgorod Region. Vera Lotkova (U54kg weight category) and Albina Cholombitko (+80kg weight category) from Yekaterinburg Sambo and Judo School of Olympic Reserve, and Anton Brachev (+98kg weight category) from UMMC Sambo Club (Verkhnyaya Pyshma) received the honorary trophy and were qualified for participation in World Super Cup to be held next March in Moscow.

Silver medals were awarded to Stanislav Skryabin (U79 kg weight category) and Artur Haptsev (+98 kg weight category) (Verkhnyaya Pyshma). Bronze medals were won by Egor Smertin (U64 kg weight category), Evgeny Sukhomlinov (U71 kg weight category) and Dmitry Torgashov (U98 kg weight category) from UMMC Sambo Club, and Olga Likhota (U80 kg weight category) from Sambo and Judo School of Olympic Reserve took bronze.
