The Sambo and Wrestling Center will open in Verkhnyaya Pyshma

Tomorrow in Verkhnyaya Pyshma will open a unique sports facility – Sambo and Wrestling Center. It is expected that Governor of the Sverdlovsk region Evgeny Kuyvashev, President of Russian and European Sambo Federation Sergey Eliseev and General Director of UMMC Andrey Kozitsyn will participate in the opening ceremony which will start at 15.00 at the address: Gornyakov 1B.

Sambo has long become a hallmark of the copper capital of the Urals, and the local UMMC Sambo Club is considered to be one of the strongest not only in Russia, but also in the world for the last two decades. It is absolutely logical that sambo has its own special place in Verkhnyaya Pyshma.

The state-of-the-art sports complex with an area of 9 thousand square meters has the main arena with three wrestling mats and the spectator stand for 1 thousand spectators as well as four training areas. In addition to sambo, karate, taekwondo and judo can be practiced here.
